Spectrum OS 3.0

In StockПрограмне забезпечення

Spectrum OS 3.0 introduces a host of new DMX profiles and features to the LiteDimmer Spectrum product line. The unique Video DMX profile makes it easier than ever to control LiteGear Spectrum products in image-based lighting environments. DMX smoothing, preset loading, and updated DMX parameters take Spectrum product control to a new level. In addition to DMX improvements, Spectrum OS 3.0 adds more functionality to the USB port, allowing you to save maintenance logs, export and import dimmer configuration files, and quickly format a USB drive to update additional LiteDimmers. Spectrum OS 3.0 is compatible with the Spectrum AC600, AC/DC 200, AC/DC 400 LiteDimmers, the Spectrum LiteMat (2023), and the Auroris.

Designed to meet

The use of LED video walls on set has now become standard practice. High-resolution video walls, combined with revolutionary content generation using game mechanics, have created a new way of filming. The Video DMX feature in Spectrum OS 3.0 provides control to match the colors of LED video walls. When combined with Auroris and LiteMat Spectrum, lighting professionals can create cinematic-quality lighting by utilizing and customizing video walls. Controls such as CCT, hue, color space, spectral depth, and RGB values provide the flexibility needed when working with mixed lighting technologies.

DMX Smoothing

DMX smoothing allows for seamless transitions between one DMX value and another automatically via a new DMX channel. The number of levels can be adjusted to achieve lightning-fast response or smoother transitions.

Typically, intensity steps during dimming can be noticeable due to the low DMX transmission rate of 44 Hz. Additionally, jumps from one DMX value to another are possible. The DMX Smoothing feature solves this common problem.

Everything Under Your Control

The USB-A port on the LiteDimmer AC600, AC/DC 200, and AC/DC 400 makes software updates easy and allows you to use many other features via the USB port.

Maintaining service logs with detailed information and error codes simplifies troubleshooting the dimmer. Eliminate the repetitive routine of digging through menus by copying your LiteDimmer’s settings to another LiteDimmer using the dimmer settings save/load functions.

In Spectrum OS 3.0, your LiteDimmer can also format and download OS 3.0 update files to a USB drive. Gone are the days of incompatible firmware and having to carry a computer around to install updates.

Streaming ACN (sACN)

Streaming ACN (sACN) is fully implemented in the LiteDimmer Spectrum AC/DC 200, AC/DC 400, and AC 600. This Ethernet-based standard protocol efficiently transmits DMX universes over the network and eliminates the need for a DMX gateway. Known for its ease of use, sACN allows you to quickly and easily configure and connect multiple devices, such as the AC/DC 200, AC/DC 400, and AC 600, to a lighting network. The dimmer can be configured to search for sACN, Art-Net, or both signals on the connected network. sACN is supported by most professional lighting consoles or lighting control software and works seamlessly with the AC/DC 200, AC/DC 400, and AC 600 dimmers.

Art-Net

Offering you the ability to choose your preferred Ethernet-based protocol. Art-Net 4, like sACN, efficiently transports DMX universes over the network and eliminates the need for a DMX gateway. An additional advantage of Art-Net is its ability to provide bidirectional communication between devices using both DMX lighting data and RDM. Configuring the AC/DC 200, AC/DC 400, and AC 600 is very simple using menu settings to select Art-Net Net, Sub-Net, and Universe. Using RDM via Art-Net is a fantastic way to remotely control all settings on the AC/DC 200, AC/DC 400, and AC 600 dimmers. Art-Net™ is a trademark of Artistic License Engineering Ltd.
